The Library contains over 17 million pages of documents, including the personal papers of Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt, and those of various individuals and organizations associated with the Roosevelts. In addition, the collection contains over 130,000 photographs, as well as audio recordings and motion pictures, including those relating the New Deal, World War II, and the famous Fireside Chats. The museum contains artifacts related to lives and careers of the Roosevelts and items that reflect the political, social, military, diplomatic, and cultural life in America during the 1930s and 1940s.
